Peacocks are scary, but beautiful!

My mom asked me to take some pictures of the peacocks at the zoo for a report she's doing in school. And I have to say I don't normally like photographing animals, mostly because you never know how they'll react. Like in this case the peacock started hissing and running after me! But I thought I would share some of the photos because I think they turned out great!

Amy's Baby Shower

Yesterday I attended my cousin, Amy's, baby shower. It was a gorgeous sunny day, so after the guests dug into this awesome spread, we headed outside for the majority of the party!

Flowers, rocks, and dirt!

So, yesterday we decided to go outside and take advantage of the tiny bit of sunshine we had. We headed across the street so the girls could pick some flowers.


Awww...how cute, right?! Then my little princess spotted this huge pile of dirt across the way...

Off with the boots...

And to finish off the day, a little snack...

Don't worry, I ran her home and washed out her mouth!

Owen Barkley

I had the great pleasure of taking photos for the newest member of the Barkley family. Little Owen has spent the first four months of his life at the Childrens Hospital in Seattle due to kidney problems. After many prayers, Owen is finally home with his awesome parents, Scott and Brandie, whom I have been friends with for a great time now. I feel so honored to have been able to take Owens first photos since being home! Thank you Barkley family!
