update::

please forgive me for not posting anything in so long. while in hawaii my laptop was infested with ants and has since not been working. we have returned to washington and are so happy to be back home. hawaii is a beautiful place, but as we soon found out is not a place that we want to reside nor raise a family. i will be posting pictures from our long vacation to hawaii as soon as we are settled into our new home within a week or so. thank you :)

a new chapter :: hawaii

The Young family can know call Kailua-Kona, HI home! After many months of planning, stressing, packing, and freaking out we've finally settled in to our new location. And though there have been many ups and down in the process of getting here, we know that this is where we are supposed to be at this time in our lives. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this amazing new adventure!! Now that we have settle in a little we are going to start exploring the island and of course photographing it along the way!

Fall Portraits :: Brooklin Tremper

On Saturday the 25th of October we headed down to Spooners Farms pumpkin patch to shoot some fall portraits for Kylie's good friend Brooklin. It was great weather and some what warm out for being October :) The girls had a blast as we walked through the lines of pumpkins and puddles of mud!

These next two are my favorite, i love how the light is making the stalks of corn glow. And of course the second one I could help but love!

Katie's Bridal session

Yesterday I got up bright and early to meet Katie and Chewy down at Owen's beach in Tacoma to shoot her bridal session. These are some of my favorites...

These next two are basically the same photo just two different sides of Katie. It's crazy how a picture can change by just changing the side your shooting from. Which do you like better?

Katie was having a hard time putting on a serious face because she is such a smiley person :) I think she did a great job, I love the way these turned out.

Dosen't Katie just have a beautiful glow about her..such a sweet spirit.
