Happy Father's Day

This Father's Day, Josh decided he wanted to spend it down at our property on the Cowlitz River. It's such a beautiful and peaceful spot that I have had in my family for three generations. I have so many childhood memories at this wonderful place and I am so happy I am able to share it with my girls. As soon as we arrived Tatum started exploring down the road and Kylie was drawn to the colorful leaves and flowers.

After some exploring, it was time for a snack...

Then we headed down to the river on the quads for a family photo opportunity...

And after a long day of playing, it was time for a Father's Day nap...

Little beauty

On June 6th I headed out to the beautiful Hotel Murano in Tacoma to take some photos of Dominga at her beauty pageant. Although the pageant was entertaining, I had fun watching Dominga explore the hotel's lobby, amazing artwork, and funky furniture before she headed on stage.

When I get bored at my house I like to break out my camera and see what I can capture my family doing.

This is not normal in this house. My lab, Lulu, never lets me take pictures of her, usually she's trying to lick the camera.

Tatum's usually pretty easy to capture, she always has some pretty funny expressions...

I never ask Kylie to look at the camera and normally she doesn't, but this time she would say "Take one...let me see!". And these capture her perfectly, she's always such a character and loves to make people laugh. I love her hair in these also...this is what you get with a four-year old who loves having long hair, but hates to do anything with it!
